Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport is a brilliant choice for an early flight or late arrival, sitting just minutes from the terminal with easy walking access. The hotel is modern, clean, and well designed for short stays, with a calm, comfortable atmosphere that makes travel days feel much easier. Rooms are bright and quiet with very comfortable beds, powerful showers, and good soundproofing from the nearby runway. There’s also a small bar and seating area for a relaxed drink in the evening. You can order food at the bar and eat at any of the numbered tables nearby. With friendly staff, reliable comfort, and unbeatable airport convenience, Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport is a stress-free base for travellers heading in or out of Scotland. We actually ended up here after an Air Traffic Control outage at the airport which eventually meant that Turkish Airlines staff went over their hours and our flight was cancelled. They put us all up in hotels nearby until they could re-route us. We ended up here with a £25 meal voucher each and we very much enjoyed the food here too. Service is quick and the staff are really attentive and helpful.

Stuck in here for days for weather reasons. + The staff are very nice and thoughtful. I was stuck here and looking forward to check out everyday. So I refused room cleaning as I didn't want to leave the room and I thought "I'm leaving tomorrow anyway". After a few days, instead of asking me cleaning, they asked me if I ran out of teabags. + The breakfast is good, better than I expected from an airport hotel. And there's a 24/7 bar with nice food. + The bed and pillows are soft and comfy. + There's a machine for calling taxi. - Shower is locked to "warm but not hot" level, and too cold for me to shower in a winter day. - Air con is locked to 24 C at most. Not freezing but still cold.

Very comfortable, very clean, modern esthetic, delicious breakfast and dinner options. Location to airport for early flights the next day is ideal, just a 5-10 minute walk to terminal. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, lovely room and bathrooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We just stay for one night but we enjoy little rest before the flight. No idea about the food we didn't use the service

Best thing about the hotel is the location. It's a 5 minute walk to the airport. On site overnight parking is a hefty £15. The room was warm, quiet, reasonably comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was a bit of a let down, but on the whole I'd still recommend this property. Staff have to be given a mention too.. polite, welcoming and helpful.

Great rooms and clean. 314 requires a little TLC but did not bother us. Staff is ok. Reception was polite. Food for breakfast was good. Haggis was excellent. If you stay here the bus is £17 for two persons return. We slept like a baby. FYI, finally a place where I could actually sleep as the mattress was not worn and was firm. Thank you.

Stayed here for 1 night 10/1, booked through an Emirates Skywards hotels promotion. Room was good size, beds comfy enough but 1 slight issue was the pillows could have been bigger and slightly firmer. Room 131 does need slight cosmetic work done in the bathroom- some mould at the bottom of the shower, ceiling peeling above the shower, and 1 small tile cracked, but this didn't take away from the experience. Ordering a meal in the restaurant from the QR code on the table wasn't working so had to manually order at the bar. A new system that still has teething troubles. Only real downside the hotel can't be blamed for. Inconsiderate guests on the same level slamming doors at all hours and walking up and down the corridors making noise, but at least couldn't hear the rooms beside, above or below. Would stay again at the right price.

For an airport hotel, we were pleasantly surprised with this hotel! Conveniently located with the airport, it was a welcome refuge after flying in from the US and wanting some rest before heading into the city. Room overall was pretty good. Bathroom felt a bit tight but for one night, it was just what w needed. Also conveniently located - we picked up a rental car the morning we checked out and were able to easily walk over, pick up the car, park it in the temporary parking to get our luggage and check out. We were also grateful for the free breakfast and overall were satisfied with their offerings. Would recommend!
